An afterthought to what I said yesterday.

Anselm, this is probably a daft suggestion, and you'll gather that I
don't know how email systems and the mailing list software work.
Would it be possible to put some sort of dummy address in the
"reply-to" field so that everyone would have to consciously select
who they want to reply to - ie, create for everyone the feature that
Priscilla Burrage's email system gives her?

Despite my arguments to the contrary because of the embarrassment
factor, I agree that logically replies should default to the whole
list, not to an individual.
