Thanks, Ron, I guess we're spoiled here with our generally good summer weather, so people aren't used to braving the elements! I remember my British brother-in-law, on his first visit to South Africa, being baffled when we hesitated to set out on an outing in a slight drizzle. He couldn't figure out what the weather had to do with it! I must say, it amazes me that folk here are happy to dance in the blazing heat and humidity of a summer evening, but don't want to come out in the cold to warm up with some good SCD.

The weather here is such a movable feast that if we took that much notice we'd get to do very little. We mostly ignore it. Just watch the Open in the next couple of days !! It started OK but I've just seen the forecast !!
