The only film that I know of is "Three Weddings and a Funeral". I was
watching the video one night in the states where I live and nearly fell out
my seat when I suddenly recognised the dancers in the Scottish wedding scene
because they were friends from England where I used to live. One of them was
Bill Forbes who writes great dances ( Kilkenny Castle, Ship in Full Sail -
written for me! -Whistlin' in the Kitchen, to name a few). Another dancer was
Sheila Jupp - Culla Bay and Leaving Benbecula were written for her. Just
thought I'd share that with you!
Thank you to everyone who gave me input on "the stories behind the dances";
it was much appreciated.
