Just think of standing in a full set, music playing, and being asked
not to dance !! And that Twice !!
GRRRRR.
But I like the modified way proposed (by Loren Wright) of dancing in
a 7C set: on 8th time through let 2C lead from 1st place, rather than
1C (for the 4th time) from 2nd place. It is a much better way of
sharing the pleasure (and strain) of being leading couple.
We often have 7 couples; and as Priscilla has said, have found that
even beginners quickly pick up this form of progression.
