I noticed when I was at TAC summer school in 2000 that all 2-couple
strathspeys on the dance programs were danced 6x through in 3-couple
sets. I thought this was a great idea and we plan to do this at our
Grand Ball in February, which has two 2-couple strathspeys (Sauchie
Haugh and Earl of Northampton, for anyone who is wondering) on the
program. Is this common practice anywhere else?

P.S. The program has 18 dances and 6 are strathspeys:
Earl of Northampton
Wave Tossed Sands
Ebb and Flow
Dundee Whaler
Silver Tassie
Sauchie Haugh
