Yes, Marilynn, it can be a refreshing change. Our branch has danced Flowers
of Edinburgh to a hammered dulcimer and had it encored because of the music.
As a harper I have no object to a harp either. The harp has to be well mic'd
and the player (which I am not) needs to be very good. They do work nicely
for a melodic Strathspey. Happy dancing!
