Alasdair definitely encourages dancing - he played at the Houston Highland
Games last year and at the Friday night ceilidh he played for a mixture of
Scottish Country dances and ceilidh dances - and some he not only played but
danced them while he played! And at the games we danced on the grass in
front of the stage - as did Alasdair when he wasn't playing. For photos of

As you can see from the photos there were young people (ie in their 20's)
enjoying the dancing too.

| I wasn't advocating trying to dance to Alasdair Fraser et al (at least
| not our type of dancing). What I was trying to express was that the
| barrier young people may have against the kind of music we DO dance to
| may be broken down if we could introduce them to the more modern stuff.
