I came across this comment about "Postie's Last Arch" as I was catching up on
a great volume of accumulated messages from the Strathspey list. The
following message was then presumably gobbled up by Anselm's server, or
didn't reach it at all. Hence the delayed reaction.
I assume the allusion is to Postie's Jig. Though I have danced Postie's Jig
many times (with somewhat diminishing enthusiasm, I have to admit), I have
never encountered more than one way of dancing the last arch (unless the
dancers are forgetting who makes the arch).
Could someone enlighten me about this?
Thanks, Chris.
