Greetings!

Unfortunately I could not be at the meeting but I have just spoken to the
Perth Branch representative. His recollection is clear that there is a
perceived difficulty with debriefing candidates without being able to give
the exam results. The mood of the overseas members that "the little chat"
should remain was made very clear. The item was sent back to the
Examinations Committee for re-consideration (or perhaps that should be
reconciliation).

On the other "biggie" of the day, he reports that the vote on the membership
restructuring was much closer than I had understood from the list
correspondence. 59 for Option 1 (management committee change but otherwise
status quo) against 53 for Option 3 (management change and "two-tier"
system).
