Explanation needed

Could someone out there clarify the first 8 bars of The Kiltmaker for
me, please. The directions I have say
1-8 1st lady followed by partner dances down through the 2nd couple,
goes out the men's side (I assume below 2nd man), casts around 3rd man,
goes out below the 2nd couple ( on which side?), and casts through
her partner's place to end on her own side in the middle of the
dance facing her partner with hands joined.
Exactly where does she go after she casts around third man?
