Ian,
Nothing was intended personally and I should have
acknowledged that part of my reaction was surprise that it
was your post that caught me on the raw as I _know_ you are
perfectly happy dancing in a less than orthodox RSCDS style
in the right circumstances.
Malcolm!
Soccer, Union, League, American and Australian Rules are
all forms of football - precisely my point. The idea of
all of them is a team sport intended to propel a ball in a
specified fashion to a specific area (touchdown or back of
net is irrelevant). And if you re-read your post you might
want to also think about the comment:
> Ceilidh dancing includes circle type dances, dances
> where you change partners, dances where the only person
> you dance with is your partner - all features missing
> from Country dances.
Your definition - not mine. Was not the Collins Book
produced in association with the RSCDS?
