Thanks everyone who replied. Guess I'm not the only one to haunt the fabric
and pattern stores -- or the internet. Both patterns I mentioned were
indeed for brides dresses with a few adjustments for dancing. The FolkArts
(or FolkWear) page does indeed have the shirt I mentioned as the Missouri
boatman's shirt. I'm still holding out hope to find a couple of those
already constructed and ready for sale. Thanks again.
