I hope this isn't too much of an ask but I would like to 'borrow' the ng for
a second to see if anyone has an interest in writing about RSCDS for
At present we are on sale in newsagents in Australia and New Zealand and
very soon we will launch our northern hemisphere edition.
I am looking more for someone who has a passion for dancing rather than a
prize winning journalist (it would be nice to get both!). Kind of stuff
would be a newsy column about anything new on the market, who you saw at the
last workshop, what's coming up, new dances, people from the past - really a
bits and pieces column which could be the centrepoint of our RSCDS coverage.
Our staff journalists would also interview prominent persons in the RSDCDS
world and we would like to include dances and steps which would make a
pretty fair coverage.
We have a full time editor who would act as a link and also bring the copy
up to standard if it needs tidying up.
In the first place this would be a 'let's have a look at each other'
position for 4-6 months with a paid spot very definitely in the offing. I
realise that there are those who prefer not to be paid (like me) and full
blown amateur status is OK too.
Location isn't as important as the passion and knowledge.
thanks for your indulgence - if anyone is interested we have an email pack I
could send back.
