On Fri, 29 Oct 1999, Melbourne Briscoe wrote a good explanation of his
earier remarks and I'd like to comment on one of them:

That's the problem, isn't it, Mel. When I'm giving advice, do I really
know how it's being perceived? When I'm receiving advice, do I stop to
analyze why it bugs me so much?
