objective tests to determine dancing ability

What I have not seen discussed in this thread is how to deal with
individuals who are somehow doomed to be perpetually awkward enough to
represent physical pain/danger to other dancers and then how to
diplomatically get them to leave the class.
Also, while experienced dancers can be a help in a class of beginners,
they can also be a major hindrance if they represent bad habits the
beginners might not pick up otherwise, especially if the experienced(not
necessarily advanced) decide to sub-teach.
Also, I personally think attitude plays in to determine level.
Arrogance in a skilled dancer really reminds me I might not be an
authentic pacifist.
