They almost ignore it. The reels of three did not run as seamlessly as
usual because you are using people (the 1st couple) who are in a reel of
four. So, it seems to me that a careful phrasing is necessary to keep it
going "nicely". Then there's that part about eye contact with your
partner in the mirror reels, which of course helps if you are not too
frazzled by the whole damn thing. However, as Marjorie mentioned, it was
easier than it sounds. I said that the most frequent problem was people
momentarily wandering off on the reel of four by mistake. However, the
dancers were proficient enough that no sets broke down, but merely
integrated the wanderer back to the fold when he/she had realized the
error. Great fun!
