Here are the instructions per Hugh Thurston's "Sixteen Scottish Country
Dances (1945-1967)". I have copied exactly as it was originally printed.
KILSPINDIE (Two couple)
1 - 2 All four change places with partnrers, giving right hands and
3 - 4 set to partners.
5 - 8 As in bars 1-4.
9 - 16 All four dance hands-across-and-back
17 - 24 The first couple dance down-the-middle-and-up, but cast up round the
second couple instead of dancing between them.
25 - 26 The 1st couple change places with partners, giving right hands,
27 - 28 set to partner,
29 - 30 change places with partner, giving right hands, and
31 - 32 cast off one. The second couple move up to top place.
Recommended tune: Blue Bonnets (6/8 time).
