Hope the following from my notes will help.

POLHARROW BURN
32-bar Reel for Five Couples

1 -4 1's and 3's cross right hands and cast off one place [2's and 4's
step up]

5-8 They then dance a half figure of 8 round 2' and 4's

9-16 1's and 3's turn right hands once round and then left hands once
round, to finish facing first corners.
MEANWHILE: Top and bottom couples [2's and 5's] cross with right
hands and chase: top couple down behind women to bottom, and
bottom couple up behind men to the top of the set.

17-20 A diagonal half reel of four:
1's with 5M and 4W
3's with 4M and 2W

21-24 A diagonal half reel of four:
1's with 2W and 5W
3's with 2M and 5M

25-28 A half diagonal reel of four:
1's with 4W and 2M
3's with 5W and 4M

29-32 1's and 3's turn right hands and cast off one place on own sides [4's
and 5's step up]

FINISH: 2 4 1 5 3
