Dear list,

Patty and I would like to acquire, if available, a video cassette of
the following program, and are wondering if anyone on the list knows
if there is a commercially-available tape and where we might acquire
same:

A few nights ago, we watched a program on one of our local
Public Broadcasting Stations called "Bedfordshire Music Tattoo" (or
perhaps "Bedfordshire Military Tattoo," but I think the former more
likely). The program didn't mention the date of this event, and it
was not narrated - just video and audio of various British military
bands, etcetera, performing on a football (soccer to us Yanks) field.

Part of the "etcetera" was a great SCD demo, featuring (IIRC) four
three-couple sets doing an extended medley of several dances to the
music of the pipes and drums of the Royal Highland Fusiliers (if I
recognized the uniforms properly) combined with a band of one of the
Scottish regiments (uniforms looked sort of like the King's Own
Scottish Borderers), so this must've been before the amalgamation of
the regimental bands into the Lowland and Highland bands of the
Scottish Division.

Anyway, we thought the SCD demo was great and would like to have our
own copy of the tape, but haven't been able to locate a commercial
supplier. It's not in the current ScotVision catalog, at any rate.
If anyone on the list knows where we might get one, we'd be grateful
for the info.

And, if anyone on the list was part of that demo, we were quite
impressed.

Thanks,

Lee
