G'Day,

Some have already said it, but the Australian Winter School in Ballarat,
Victoria this year lived up to the usual high standard of these annual
events. This was in spite of a loss of natural gas supply to the whole of=

Victoria. So, for a week, it was no heating, and cold showers (or bucket
baths!). Fortunately, the weather was warm for Ballarat, so the heating w=
as
no problem.

Next year the School is to be held in Perth, Western Australia in late
September 1999. All you dancers from other continents should consider a
trip to wonderful Australia, particularly at that time of year as the
wildflowers in (our) spring in Western Australia are magnificent. (They
really have to be seen to be believed.)

Brian Charlton,
Sydney, Australia.
