The thread of messages on the examination results started by Ian and so well
added to by Jim is getting interesting. Being myself in the position of (very
likely) going for the final examination next summer, I will refrain from
offering an opinion on this subject. However, ...
Some of you may remember a message I posted some weeks back
complaining about the format of Leaflet 33 (A4 size stapled inside the
booklet). Well, I'm feeling so pleased with myself that, with the assistance of
a de-stapler, a photocopier capable of A3=>A4 double-sided and a long
stapler (and at least 45 minutes of figuring out how to do it) I am now the
proud owner of Leaflet 33 in A5 format. Ta da! Probably of minimal interest
to you lot, but I'm feeling so triumphant. Now let's take a look at the dances...
On a more positive note for poor old RSCDS, what about the new RSCDS
CDs by Colin Dewar which accompany the Collins Pocket Reference?
Mairi's Wedding, Postie's Jig, the Dunedin Festival Dance! Never let it be
again said that the Society ignores the other 8,119 dances completely.
