Does anybody know where I can find dance instructors who would be
willing to volunteer to come participate/teach in a dance workshop
that will include Scottish Country Dancing, Highland dancing and
perhaps some Irish clog dancing and maybe even general ballroom and
Cajun dancing as well? Our Krew of the Celts is planning a dance
workshop and we want to open it to the general public and thought,
since our area is made up of party animals and dancing fiends, we'd
include as much variety as possible. We've already got our SCD
instructor who has kinkly volunteered to do his part, and I'm sure I
can find a couple of Cajun and Ballroom dance instructors, but I need
the other Celtic dance gurus. We can offer to pay based on what we get
to charge for the workshop, which should be pretty large if we can get
something to interest everyone. Mardi Gras 1999 is Feb. 16 but Balls
and other events start as early as mid December. The further away from
Fat Tuesday we stay, the cheaper the facilities, so we'll probably do
the workshop closer to the beginning of January. I thought perhaps you
folks might have a lead or two????? I'm always amazed at what you
know.

Thanks,
Missy
