US tax exempt SCD groups?

The Austin SCD group is investigating US federal tax exemption status.
We'd like to benefit from the experiences of other US SCD groups that have
taken this route before.

So, if your US SCD group has either
(1) been recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization
or
(2) incorporated
I'd like to hear from you. In particular, I'd like to get copies of your
"Articles of Organization" or "Articles of Incorporation". I'd also like
to get a copy of your bylaws or constitution and any other documents that
govern your organization.
