I can't lay my hands on the instructions, which according to Napier are
located in Hugh Foss's "Angus Fitchet Scottish Dance Album", but I think
there was some explanation given there. I may have read it somewhere
else; I'm not sure.

Supposedly J.B. Milne was the owner of a (chain of?) movie theatre(s).
In the last 16 bars the active couple represent the movie itself, while
the supporting couples provide the screen. I don't recall what the
initials meant.

Doubtless someone out there has more complete information.
